THE EXPERIENCE

Enjoy Greenville, SC's scenic Swamp Rabbit Trail followed by farm-to-table fare from Topsoil Restaurant in Travelers Rest, SC.  With The Chef’s Picnic experience, you and your group will partake in a guided trail ride from Downtown Greenville to Topsoil Restaurant on electric assist bikes from Reedy Rides Bike Rental, enjoying the sights and sounds of the Swamp Rabbit Trail and Furman University, along the way.  Upon arriving at Topsoil, you will be delighted by an elevated picnic spread, prepared by award winning Chef Adam Cooke using ingredients from Topsoil Restaurant’s local farming partners.


T H E J O U R N E Y

Begin your bike ride at Reedy Rides located in Downtown Greenville at 50 S. Richardson St.   You and your group, guided by a bike tour professional, will enjoy a relaxing 9 mile cruise up and back the Swamp Rabbit Trail on electric assist bikes with a stop at Topsoil Restaurant for a Chef's Picnic.


T H E  D E S T I N A T I O N

When you arrive at Topsoil, park your bikes and head up to Topsoil Restaurant's covered patio that overlooks the Swamp Rabbit Trail.  There, a delicious seasonal picnic spread and our refreshing house made Spritz awaits you.


THE OFFER

Perfect for groups of 10 - 22, our Chef's Picnic included bike rental, a helmet, guided ride and picnic lunch with refreshments (alcohol sold separately) for $125/pp.  Perfect for groups (minimum 10 - 22 maximum) Wednesday - Sunday from 11:30 - 3:00.  We ask that you please book at least two weeks prior to date requested (subject to availability), 24 hour cancellation with full refund.  


Chef's Picnic is also available without bike rental fee and we ask that you please email us for more information at events@topsoilrestaurant.com to customize your experience.


ABOUT TOPSOIL RESTAURANT IN TRAVELERS REST, SC

Topsoil Restaurant in Travelers Rest is a farm to table restaurant in South Carolina led by Chef Adam Cooke, 2020 James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef Southeast and SCRLA Best Restaurant Chef 2022. Their menus begin with walks through their field, and their mission is to connect their guests with food grown in their community in a more meaningful way. Topsoil’s ingredients are sourced from their 16-acre farm two and a half miles down the road in Greenville, SC, and their mentors are a handful of passionate neighboring farmers.
